Volkswagen ID.3 Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • IQ.Light with LED matrix

  • The really quiet journey with the ID.3, especially on highways

  • The road handling and the very small turning cicle

  • The fantastic automation like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

  • The room inside

  • The charging with up to 100 kW

Cons:

  • The software and the communication from the App

  • The lack of a trailer hitch

  • The material of the seats feels cheap

  • Piano lacquer on the door handle strips

Owner Review

ID.3 1st Max

I love my ID.3 1st and how I could handle it on the roads. It's agile and has enough power to getfast up to 100 km/h, but it is limited by 160 km/h for good reasons. I miss nothing excepts I can't tow trailers. But a smal hitch for a bike carrier is available.

It is much fun to drive with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) even in the city centre with more lanes. Outside of towns I allways turn it on - you never miss a speed limit anymore.

The IQ.Light with the LEDmatrix is fantastic, you can always leave the high beam on without blinding oncoming traffic.
