Renault will start pre-orders for the first two versions of the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric in Germany on 31 May. Pricing now starts at 32,900 euros (110 kW power, 52 kWh battery), while the base model at 24,900 euros will follow next year (70 kW power, 40 kWh battery). However, German customers will have to wait for the promised vehicle-to-grid (V2G) function.

As of February, the full specifications of the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric are known. Inspired by the historic R5 design, the model is poised to disrupt the small electric car segment. At launch, Techno and Iconic Five versions with a 52 kWh battery will be available, with a cheaper base model with a 40 kWh battery to follow in 2025.
