When I got to the rental car office to pick up my car, all they had left was a Polestar 2.  No one at Hertz could tell me anything about how it operates so I was on my own.  While it's true that I had no idea what I was doing, nothing in 45 years driving experience covering over three million miles prepared me for how incredible un-intuitive this vehicle was.  If you're reading this review to try and see how the polestar 2 stacks up against other EV's, I'm afraid it's not going to be helpful at all.  I just wanted to put it out there somewhere to someone that this was absolutely, hand down, the worst driving experience of my life.  I will never get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle again under any circumstances.  The difference between driving a gas powered vehicle and an EV is not the same as trying to make the switch from an automatic to a manual transmission - the difference (for me) is like going from a child's tricycle to a Peterbilt.
