Owner Review
Genuine Porsche with some stupid flaws
When I decided to go electric, I did not see many other options than Porsche. I have tested a lot of Teslas, but I don't like them from the mechanical point of view. Yes, they are a fantastic piece of software, but the hardware is rather average, and the driving experience is simply dull.
I literally drove the Taycan for 3 kilometers and immediately knew that if something should be our first EV, the Taycan was the one. So here I am, owning 2,3 tons battery-powered Porsche with air suspension, which makes this fatty, surprisingly comfortable vehicle. But don't get confused.
Even if this athlete looks like a supercar, it feels heavy. In many ways, it feels like a tank. No joke. Let me explain. If you have ever driven 911, you know that even as a sports coupe, it feels heavy and is much harder to drive compared to e.g., M cars from BMW.
You can easily slide with M5 after a few months of ownership, but you need years of training to play with 911 similarly. BUT, It is not a bad thing. It is part of Porsche's DNA, and basically, it is what Porsche cars are. And I love them for that, hence the Taycan 4S.
Would I buy it again?
Yes, I would. Well. I did. Even it is not perfect in many ways. It is a genuine Porsche. It got that vibe; it has that driving capabilities. It makes you smile when you drive it. And that is the reason I love it.
